The Los Angeles Equestrian Center Shines on CBS/KCAL’s “Weather In Your Neighborhood”
On April 9th, the Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC) had the exciting opportunity to welcome CBS LA/KCAL News to our grounds for a live primetime feature during their “Weather In Your Neighborhood” broadcast. The spotlight aired between 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM, offering viewers an inside look at the vibrant life of the LAEC—and highlighting one of our biggest annual events: the “Show Me The Money” Western Horse Show.
Throughout the evening, KCAL News aired five full segments and four teasers directly from our property, with on-air anchors proudly shouting out the Equestrian Center before each feature. Their team didn’t just showcase the excitement of the Western show—they also gave us a platform to talk about what makes the Los Angeles Equestrian Center such a vital part of the community.
From our role as a safe haven for hundreds of large animals during the recent LA wildfires to our ongoing programs that serve riders, families, and equestrian enthusiasts, it was an incredible opportunity to share our story with the greater Los Angeles audience. We were honored to highlight our commitment to our community.
The team at CBS LA/KCAL helped amplify the heart of what we do—and we’re so grateful for the chance to share it with all of you.
Thank you, KCAL, for helping tell our story. Go LA Equestrian Center!
