Hollywood Charity Horse Show & Gala

Join us for the annual Hollywood Charity Horse Show and Gala, a premier equestrian event and fundraiser hosted by William Shatner. This year's festivities are scheduled from May 28 to June 1, 2025, at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, California.
Horse Show (May 28 – June 1, 2025): Organized by the California Reining Horse Association (CRHA), the show features two full slates of reining classes, including two qualifiers for "The Run For A Million" Rookie and Non-Pro divisions. Competitions will showcase top-tier reining horses and riders, promising thrilling performances for all attendees.
Gala Event (May 31, 2025): On Saturday, May 31, the highlight gala evening commences at 6:00 PM. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live entertainment, and the opportunity to participate in silent and live auctions. Each year, the Rose Parade’s equestrian units showcase their breeds and demonstrate their talent with performances at Equestfest. Held on December 29 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, this family-friendly event includes an exciting equestrian show, musical performances, and a food and vendor court. The equestrian show features a variety of horse breeds, as well as a variety of drills, dances, tricks, and thrills!
A schedule of events can be found below!
Important Reminder: Please note that some performances include gunshots and cannon booms in the Equidome. If you or your animals are sensitive to loud noises, plan accordingly.
These effects will happen during the following acts:
- The Spirit of the West Riders during dress rehearsal on Saturday the 28th and specifically at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday the 29th.
- The 1st Cavalry Horse Division during dress rehearsal on Saturday the 28th and specifically at 1:28 p.m on Sunday the 29th.
Attendees are invited to view the equestrian participants in the warm-up rings, prior to their performances. There may also be opportunities to meet the performers and participate in educational and interactive exhibits.

Festive Fun, Special Classes, and Christmas Market
Proceeds from the show will help support funding for the Michael Nyuis Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that offers grants to young riders who have the passion and drive to compete but lack the resources to consistently do so.
The 2024 MNF Grant Recipients are planning and running the show with oversight from the West Palms Events Team. These young riders will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of event management behind the scenes.
We will also be raising funds for Retired Racehorses and offering Thoroughbred classes that support C.A.R.M.A.
