The Los Angeles Equestrian Center Community Receives Certificate of Recognition from the City

LAEC Equestrian Operations Director, General Manager, and Business Development & Communicators Director with Councilmember Nithya Raman

The Los Angeles Equestrian Center has the distinct honor of being recognized by the City of Los Angeles for its pivotal role during a critical time for our community. At a recent meeting of the Los Angeles Equine Advisory Committee, the LAEC was presented with a beautifully hand-calligraphed certificate of recognition. This prestigious acknowledgment, graciously bestowed by CD4 Councilmember Nithya Raman, celebrates the LAEC's unwavering commitment as an official evacuation site for horses and large animals amidst the January 2025 fires.

The certificate is not just a piece of paper; it is a symbol of the strength, resilience, and unyielding dedication that defines our vibrant equestrian community. During those harrowing days, as fires threatened lives and homes, the Los Angeles Equestrian Center became a safe haven for countless animals. It was through the tireless efforts and late nights of our dedicated volunteers and contributors that we were able to provide refuge and care during such a tumultuous time.

We are immensely grateful to the City of Los Angeles and Councilmember Raman for this honor, which rightfully belongs to every member of our community, every effort contributed to our collective success. This recognition reaffirms the essential role the LAEC plays within the larger Los Angeles area, not only as a center for equestrian activities but also as a crucial resource during emergencies. As we reflect on this accolade, let us also renew our commitment to the safety and well-being of our equine partners and the people who love them.

Thank you to everyone in our community — your passion and dedication are truly the heart and soul of the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. This honor is yours, and it is a testament to what we can achieve together.
