The Hollywood Charity Horse Show brought another memorable weekend to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. With the support of William Shatner, his fans, and the local equestrian community, HCHS has built a legacy of fundraising for veterans’ and children’s causes. The LA Equestrian Center is proud to be the host venue of this inspiring and community-centered event.

We love when Scott “Movie” Mantz brings his enthusiastic energy to the center, and this year was no exception. Scott did three hits on KTLA Channel 5 News, spreading the word to hundreds of thousands of local news-watchers across LA County. Each year, Scott ups the ante — from his first time getting on a horse, to learning to ride, to this year interviewing Mr. Shatner while on horseback. His third year in a row covering HCHS earned him a new nickname for the day — Scott “Cowboy” Mantz!

Jennie Nevin, our official spokesperson, was featured in the third hit, where she thanked William Shatner and Scott Mantz for making this weekend a special one. She’s riding Romeo, borrowed from one of our onsite Western trainers, Renee Baker of Renee Baker Performance Horses.
Jennie thanks Mr. Shatner for supporting the center and our community for the past 36 years.
