Activating the lost arts of mythic pageantry, The Cortège is a participatory theater experience singing to a part of ourselves both ancient and eternal. Amid a rapidly expiring culture and scarcity of shared meaning, The Cortège serves as a container for collective and individual grief. Via ceremonious procession, The Cortège mourns the fate of the modern era, invites reckoning with the New Gods of Perplexity, and shepherds souls towards what lives beyond the veil.
Before we are able to welcome a new era, we must mourn the loss of the world we knew.
